The Bipolar chair was a collaborative project aimed at crafting a chair using diverse and unconventional materials. As the foundation, we utilised a skateboard, securely affixing it to a backrest with a carefully drilled locking mechanism. To suspend the chair from the ceiling, circular screws were inserted, and ropes were fastened, enabling a mobile seating experience. To enhance its aesthetic appeal, we meticulously crafted patterns with ropes to add various textures to the backrest. Notably, the chair can be fully disassembled, and the skateboard can be used independently, allowing for effortless reattachment by reconnecting it to the hangers.
