Eye Spy Sculpture
In this collaborative project, we embarked on the task of repurposing two objects, namely a hand mixer and a phone, to create sculptural pieces that integrated both items. Following the removal of all individual components, we embarked on sculpting two wooden bases. One sculpture incorporated the phone, housing an internal speaker, while the other featured a rotating motor. The mixer wings and additional parts were creatively incorporated to symbolise the functionality of the mixer. The primary objective of our project was to establish a synchronised interaction between the two sculptures. When the phone received an incoming call and was answered, the accompanying sculpture initiated its rotation, emulating the movement of a functioning mixer.
